Visible Shadows in Blue. Oil on canvas. 30 x 30 cm. 2026
Part of The Sleepers II. In this piece, I was interested in exaggerating something that usually goes unnoticed: shadow. Pushing blues until they become visible, using them not only as colour but as another presence within the image.
Here, the cut of light and projected shadows work almost as a structure. I’m interested in the moment painting stops simply reproducing a scene and begins constructing its own logic. Blues, shadows, and light stop describing the body and start intervening in it.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
The artwork is signed and comes with its certificate of authenticity.
