This image caught me for a formal reason: the cheek pressed into the pillow, the half-closed eyes, the flesh giving way to one side.
There’s no story. Just a head falling, calmly, in silence.
I painted it using a cold palette, letting the greys shift and interact without standing out. The scene is still, almost lifeless, but it holds a subtle movement — as if it were still breathing.
What interested me was that mix: the physical and the melancholic. The face, the color, the quiet surrender.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
Works are shipped framed and ready to hang.
