To emerge always implies a kind of burst—of forms, of colors. The face, barely suggested between the hands, seeks a moment to breathe. It rises from an overflowing garden, blooming in a luminous act.
The neons — pinks and oranges — don’t explode; they’re held back. Surrounded by dark, greenish blacks, they vibrate in a tense balance, as if the painting is doing its best to contain their energy.
“Forced to Bloom” isn’t about easy beauty, but about the kind of growth that costs something. Pushing through, even when everything around feels too crowded, too intense, too much.
