In this 1 x 1 meter piece on linen, I confront the geometric complexity of three intertwined figures with the stain of the fabrics. I was interested in seeing how the body becomes a sturdy architecture—a knot where skin and fabric fuse.
The vibrant green and red function as color blocks clashing with the flesh tones, which differ between characters through subtle variations in the color palette. The cobalt blue background pushes the entire composition forward, spiraling toward the figures, seeking that balance between what flows and what is anchored. I’m not looking for realism; I’m looking for structure.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
