I rarely sleep well.
I wake up too early, when silence is thick and the light hasn’t quite arrived.
At that hour, color shifts. Warm and cool tones stop fighting. Everything flattens, blends, becomes skin.
This painting speaks of that suspended time — without shadows, without clarity. The body rests, but doesn’t give in. The gesture is there, but not yet acting.
The painting was built from that uncertain space: the border between sleep and waking, between calm and unease. Here, the line holds but doesn’t confine. The light touches, but doesn’t fully reveal.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
Works are shipped framed and ready to hang.
