There’s something gentler about this piece.
Not just the small format — it’s the gesture, the way the body gives in without drama. The folds in the fabric seem to move with the rhythm of breathing. The cobalt stripes — softer, more scattered — no longer organize: they simply accompany.
Light doesn’t highlight here; it settles. Rest is not a metaphor — it’s real, almost physical. Painting this was an exercise in restraint: allowing things to happen without pushing them.
Soft Cobalt Sleep doesn’t try to explain. It simply offers a space where stillness, at last, feels possible.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
