Rest among cobalt stripes. 50 x 50 cm. Oil on linen.
In this piece, the figure rests in a delicate balance between surrender and structure. Its body, shaped by light and tonal contrast, reclines on a background of blue stripes that not only create dynamism but also establish a visual dialogue with the warmth of the skin.
Cobalt, a recurring element in my work, serves as a point of contrast—not only in color but also in structure. The composition is built upon this interplay of forces: the rigidity of the lines against the softness of the anatomy, the energy of the brushstroke against the stillness of the figure.
A pause in the chaos. A moment suspended between serenity and the vibration of color.
