There’s a kind of stillness that doesn’t soothe — it holds.
In this piece, the figure doesn’t sleep, but she also doesn’t resist. Her gaze is low, not absent, just suspended. As if caught mid-thought, mid-feeling, mid-surrender. The body folds gently onto the striped surface, which once again becomes more than fabric — it becomes a structure.
The lines, rhythmic and insistent, contain the space. The hand, resting yet alert, becomes an anchor. Everything is painted with restraint: soft tones, muted transitions, a quiet pulse running under the surface.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
