What drew me in here was the body: the neck and back held in tension, while the legs and feet rotate open, almost loose, almost rhythmic. That duality is enough.
Painting it felt fluid, natural — almost physical. I was interested in that contrast between the upper body’s tightness and the lower body’s release. In the temperature of color: cool in shadow, warm in skin.
There was no revelation. Just the quiet certainty that when everything falls into place — the stroke, the form, the light — nothing else needs to be said.
Diagonal in Copper and Violet is exactly that: a painting without pretense. Just body, color, and rhythm.
This piece will be sent directly from my studio, carefully packed by me.
