Description
Between light and cobalt – 40 x 40 cm
The portrait you see wasn’t born from a specific inspiration, but rather from a fascination with the image itself. The defiant, almost nihilistic posture, combined with soft light but without strong contrasts, led me to experiment with a vast multiplicity of colors. I aimed to capture that richness of tones in the mid-tones of light.
The blue background has lately been a constant in my works. Its vibration and purity captivate me. The simple geometric backgrounds I use are meant to stabilize and balance the composition of the work, making it as stable as possible as a whole.
